    How ads work

The wall shows a painted poster and the word Ad. The line is on the poster. Ad is not an endorsement, a power-up, or a reward.

One ad is chosen for each group of five levels. We do not promise how often, where, or to how many people, or any clicks or sales.

A year starts the day the sign goes on the wall. The end date is shown then. It does not renew automatically.

The line is 3 to 24 characters. It is painted on the poster. Plain text only: normal capitals, no phone numbers, and no email addresses. A link is optional. We may check the link before and after going live and remove the ad if the page changes.

We review every ad before it goes live. We may refuse or remove an ad that: breaks the law or promotes anything illegal; is adult, hateful, harassing, violent, or aimed at harming someone; promotes gambling, weapons, tobacco or vaping, alcohol, cannabis, drugs, or dietary supplements, dating, political or election causes, loans or get-rich-quick offers, or crypto; makes false or misleading claims or promises results (including health claims); copies another business's name, logo, or look, or pretends to be Crankles or the game; contains a link that is broken, redirects elsewhere, downloads a file, collects personal data without clear notice, or looks unsafe; is unsuitable for a general audience that includes teens; or that we simply decide does not fit Crankles.
